Butlin’s school holidays

Top tipButlins school-holiday pricing runs 60–100% above mid-term rates — and the gap is biggest in August

Butlins prices peak weeks dynamically. School holiday weeks — especially August and UK bank holiday weekends — are the most expensive. Term-time weeks offer the same facilities at near half-price, but entertainment and activities may operate on a reduced schedule. Check the term-time programme before booking.

School-holiday demand by period

A low score means fewer school-age children during that week. Butlin’s is one of the UK’s most school-holiday-sensitive destinations - the difference between peak and off-peak is stark.
