Top tipVisit early July for PortAventura — Spanish schools are out but English families haven't arrived

Spanish schools finish in late June. England, Wales and Northern Ireland don't break until 21 July. That three-to-four week window in early July is when PortAventura operates at full summer capacity but without the full UK family surge. Scotland follows on 29 June, so Scottish families get a similar gap in late June.

School-holiday demand by period

A low score means fewer school-age children from both the UK and Spain. Summer and Easter (Semana Santa) are the two highest-demand periods.
