For Scottish families there is almost no advance window before Irish destinations fill up. English, Welsh and Northern Irish families get three to four weeks: late June to late July, Ireland is fully open but most UK family demand hasn't yet peaked.
The June gap
Irish primary schools close in the last week of June (around 26 June 2027). English schools don't finish until late July.
